JESUS

You Never Let Go and You Are My Hiding Place

E-mail

Psalm 34:18
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all

Psalm 32:7
You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.

You Are My Hiding Place You by Shela
Never Let Go by Matt Redman

You are my hiding place
You always fill my heart
With songs of deliverance
Whenever I am afraid
I will trust in You

I will trust in You
Let the weak say
I am strong
In the strength of the Lord

You are my hiding place
You always fill my heart
With songs of deliverance
Whenever I am afraid
I will trust in You

I will trust in You
Let the weak say I am strong
In the strength of the Lord
I will trust in You

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back
I know you are near

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

(Chorus:)
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We'll live to know You here on the earth

(Chorus)

Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You

(Chorus 2x's)

Answer In Genesis

I found a great website yesterday called answeringenersis.org and started to this article. Design in living things Molecular biologist Dr Michael Denton, writing as an agnostic, concluded:
‘Alongside the level of ingenuity and complexity exhibited by the molecular machinery of life, even our most advanced [twentieth century technology appears] clumsy … . It would be an illusion to think that what we are aware of at present is any more than a fraction of the full extent of biological design. In practically every field of fundamental biological research ever-increasing levels of design and complexity are being revealed at an ever-accelerating rate.’3
The world-renowned crusader for Darwinism and atheism, Prof. Richard Dawkins, states:
‘We have seen that living things are too improbable and too beautifully “designed” to have come into existence by chance.’4
Selection and design Can mutations produce new information? Dr Lee Spetner, a highly qualified scientist who taught information and communication theory at Johns Hopkins University, makes this abundantly clear in his recent book:
All point mutations that have been studied on the molecular level turn out to reduce the genetic information and not to increase it.
More problems! Scientists have found that within the cell, there are thousands of what can be called ‘biochemical machines.’ All of their parts have to be in place simultaneously or the cell can’t function. Things which were thought to be simple mechanisms, such as being able to sense light and turn it into electrical impulses, are in fact highly complicated. Since life is built on these ‘machines,’ the idea that natural processes could have made a living system is untenable. Biochemist Dr Michael Behe (see The mousetrap man) uses the term ‘irreducible complexity’ in describing such biochemical ‘machines.’
‘… systems of horrendous, irreducible complexity inhabit the cell. The resulting realization that life was designed by an intelligence is a shock to us in the twentieth century who have gotten used to thinking of life as the result of simple natural laws. But other centuries have had their shocks, and there is no reason to suppose that we should escape them.’12
Richard Dawkins recognizes this problem of needing ‘machinery’ to start with when he states:
‘The theory of the blind watchmaker is extremely powerful given that we are allowed to assume replication and hence cumulative selection. But if replication needs complex machinery, since the only way we know for complex machinery ultimately to come into existence is cumulative selection, we have a problem.’13

God is Mercy and God is Just

Today's QT shows me that God cares for those often times no one cares about.. GOD IS MERCY From Psalm 146: 7~9
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sights to the blink, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
It is comforting to know that my God helps the helpless and cares for the fatherless. We as God's children must glorify his name by helping the way He wants us to. We are to be tender as Jesus would to every weak, feeble, hapless, and hopeless people we met in our life here on earth. Sometimes the pain could seem so immense that we want to just ignore the need, the pain, and the suffering outside of our immediate environment, but we must not forget and fool ourselves that we can help and must help. I pray to God that He directs my path and shows me the best way to help others, especially those who could not help themselves. GOD IS JUST Not only is my LORD a loving God, He is also a just God who will proclaim justice to the whole earth.
I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nation. He will not quarrel or cry out, no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smothering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory.
A just God can not leave sins unpunished, or else He would not be just. Just like a just judge can not leave crimes unpunished, especially when he is the one who made the laws!! You may wonder, why God bothers to create Laws at all. You see, God is not a party pooper nor a twisted man scheming to make our lives bonded and miserable. Quite oppositely, God wants us to enjoy our lives to the fullest. Just like a daddy would set boundaries and rules for his children, to help and protect them. I know there are so really really evil parents out there who did unimaginably evil things to their children, but God is good. He is good. How can I say that? Because He said so, and because I've tasted how good He is since I became his child 14 years ago. Like a just and fair daddy, God will keep his words and punish sins, he is also a loving God. For those who would come, he provided a way, a painful and imaginably way, that we human with our puny brains may never comprehend. Through His immense wisdom and love, God gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment of our sins so we will not be condemned. I did not understand why or how, but Jesus my Lord said "Come, this is my body, broken for you, so that you may have life." Like a wayward child, I went forward, with trembling and much doubt. But I went forward and accepted Jesus' body and his love for me. Life has never been the same for me since then.
