This song meant a lot to me. Even though I've been a Christ follower for several years, there are still time when I am weak and down. This song always gives me courage and hope. Sometimes I felt like I am cold and wet, catching what this world brought upon a sinful person like me, and I am helpless and hopeless. But time and time again I've learned, that if I choose to stand firm, God always comes through for me.

This is one the songs I often sing with my kids before turning out the light. It reassures them that when they sleep, Jesus loves them still. When the light is out and it gets a bit creepy, Jesus loves them still. Because the Bible tells us so. This song also helps me to settle down anytime when I fret and worry about things in life; it reassures me, through simple words, that Jesus loves me. That is all. That is all I ever need to know and all my kids ever need to know.
